Where was he arrested: From his residence in the city of in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Place of detention: Unknown

Legal basis or reasons for the arrest: None was given. No fair trial, no right to legal assistance, or the right when charged with a criminal offence to be informed of the nature and cause of criminal charges brought against him has been respected.

Additional Information: Husham Ali Mohamed Ali is a Sudanese citizen who has been stopped and arrested from his residence place in in the city of in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to his family, several officers raided Husham Ali’s home, searched the house and took him to an unknown place. Husham suffer from multiple health conditions.

Sudan Human Rights Network is deeply concerned about the wellbeing of Husham Ali Mohamed Ali, and respectfully appeal to Your Majesty to urge Saudi authorities to:

• Immediately and unconditionally release Husham Ali Mohamed Ali, since no valid legal charges have been made

• Requesting assurances that he is being humanly treated, that he has immediate and regular access to his family, lawyers, and any necessary medical attention.
